National Women’s Enterprise Day 2024: Lessons in Empowerment and Growth
Attending National Women’s Enterprise Day 2024 was an unforgettable experience. It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many like-minded women, all passionate about business and growth. This incredible event, organized by the Cork City Local Enterprise Office, left me with a renewed sense of purpose and plenty of actionable insights. Here are my top three takeaways from the day:
1. Empower Your Team
One of the standout lessons from the day was the importance of empowering and investing in your team. Providing your staff with the right tools, training, and support can help them grow and excel—and when they thrive, so does your business. At BASE Fitness Health, our coaches and team members are our backbone. By continually offering opportunities for professional development and fostering a supportive environment, we ensure they have what they need to succeed.
2. Build Strong Relationships
Business is built on relationships. Whether it’s connecting with clients, networking with other professionals, or collaborating within the team, strong and meaningful relationships are vital. At BASE, we’ve seen firsthand how fostering a sense of community can elevate the overall experience. Building trust and maintaining open communication with our members has been key to our success, and it’s a principle I’m proud to uphold every day.
